Frequently asked questions.

Q: What makes sourdough bread different from regular bread?
A: Sourdough is naturally leavened, which means it rises with a wild yeast starter instead of commercial yeast. This gives it a unique tangy flavor, chewy texture, and a crisp crust.

Q: Do you use a sourdough starter?
A: Yes! All our sourdough breads are made with our own natural starter, which we feed and care for daily. It’s what makes each loaf flavorful, wholesome, and one-of-a-kind.

Q: Is sourdough easier to digest?
A: Many people find sourdough easier on the stomach because the long fermentation process helps break down gluten and phytic acid. While it’s not gluten-free, it’s often gentler than breads made with quick-rise yeast.

Q: How long will sourdough stay fresh and how do I store it?
A: Sourdough typically stays fresh for about 3–4 days at room temperature wrapped in a clean kitchen towel or paper bag. You can freeze it in a airtight bag. Just pop sliced bread in the toaster or sprinkle a loaf with water and place in oven at 350 for 10 minute to bring back freshness..
(We don’t recommend refrigerating—it can dry the bread out.)

Q: Do you offer different flavors or styles of sourdough?
A: Yes! In addition to our classic loaf, we offer seasonal flavors and variations . Keep an eye out for weekly specials!

Q: Is sourdough bread vegan?
A: Our classic sourdough is made with just flour, water, and salt—no dairy, no eggs. Some specialty loaves may include add-ins (like cheese or honey), but we’ll always note that in the description.

Q: Can I order custom loaves?
A: Absolutely! If you’d like a certain size, flavor, or style, let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to bake it up just for you.

Q: Do you have preservatives in your food?
A: We believe fresh is best. That’s why our breads and treats are made without preservatives, so you get pure flavor in every bite.

Q: How long will your baked goods stay fresh for?
